Presentation of the 2026 edition of Monaco in figures

Submit your 2025 GDP declaration today

As every year, Monaco Statistics is today launching its statistical survey to calculate the Principality of Monaco’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for 2025.To make it easier for you to submit your return, we strongly encourage you to complete the form online via the dedicated online service. It is also still possible to complete the paper questionnaire enclosed with the letter you have received and return it to IMSEE – 9 rue du Gabian, 98000 Monaco.As GDP is an essential economic indicator for our country, we are counting on all entities requested to respond to this mandatory survey within the specified deadline.We would like to remind you that this survey is for purely statistical purposes and has no connection with taxation. It is conducted by qualified and legally authorised personnel from Monaco Statistics.If you are submitting multiple declarations on behalf of your clients, we invite you to contact us to set up an automated export feature enabling the automatic entry of all your data.For any questions regarding the GDP declaration, our agents are available on the freephone number 8000 2008, via the website monacostatistics.mc or on (+377) 98 98 98 88.

Monaco Statistic releases the 2025 edition of its Real Estate Observatory

The Monegasque Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (Monaco Statistics - IMSEE) has published the latest edition of its Real Estate Observatory, in the presence of Ms Céline Caron-Dagioni, Minister of Public Works, the Environment and Urban Development, and Mr Pierre-André Chiappori, Minister of Finance and Economy.©️Direction de la Communication – Manuel VitaliAlexandre Bubbio also presented the new method for estimating the price per square metre in the Principality: “In the particularly dynamic context of the Monegasque real estate market, units from newly completed developments quickly enter the resale market and significantly affect observed price levels. As a result, the method used to calculate the price per square metre has been revised to take into account not only resales but also initial sales, as well as the construction period of the properties. It is now based on a linear regression statistical model applied to all transactions for which surface area data are available.”In 2025, the real estate market recorded 493 transactions, an increase of 5.8% compared with 2024. The total value of sales and resales amounted to €5.9 billion, remaining stable at the record level reached the previous year.Find all the results of the study here.
