Focus : Maritime economy & Yachting 2022
Carried out in partnership with the Department of Maritime Affairs, the first Focus Maritime economy and Yachting, covering the year 2022, is now online.
The study was presented on Thursday 8 February 2024 at the 16th Business Symposium - La Belle Classe Superyachts at the Yacht Club de Monaco.
The maritime economy encompasses all activities that cannot exist without the sea. In 2022, this sector includes 635 establishments with a revenue of €1.8 billion and 3,268 jobs. Yachting encompasses all activities of the maritime economy related to pleasure and great pleasure boats. This sub-sector of the maritime economy includes 411 establishments with a revenue of €567.1 million and 1,429 jobs in 2022.
