The construction sector includes general construction and specialised construction activities for buildings and civil engineering (new construction sites, renovations, repairs, extensions and conversions, and the assembly of prefabricated buildings). This large sector also includes property development activities, provided that they bring together the financial, technical and human resources necessary to carry out property projects intended for subsequent sale (NAF divisions 41 to 43).
